报告题目：The quantile-based empirical likelihood for the ROC curves

报告摘要：We develop a quantile-based empirical likelihood method for the ROC curves. We derive the limiting distribution of the smoothed log-empirical likelihood ratio associated with ROC curves, which enables the comparison of diagnostic test measurements from two distinct populations. Owing to the simple expression of the derived statistic, the newly proposed approach can effectively handle nonlinear equations and is easily implemented in practice. Simulation studies and real data analysis on hepatitis C are conducted to compare our method with others.

报告人简介：刘鹏飞，江苏师范大学数学与统计学院教授，2009年本科毕业于中山大学数学与应用数学系；2013年博士毕业于香港中文大学统计系。2015年获批江苏省双创博士。主持国家自然科学基金2项，参与国家自然科学基金重点项目1项；在Structural Equation Modeling - A Multidisciplinary Journal、统计研究、Statistics in Medicine、中国科学：数学等国内外期刊发表论文近30篇；指导学生获包括全国大学生统计建模大赛一等奖、市场调查与分析大赛一等奖、美国大学生数学建模竞赛一等奖在内的奖项百余项。
