报告题目：A sixth-order finite difference method for the two-dimensional nonlinear advection diffusion reaction equation

摘要：A novel higher-order finite difference method is developed to solve the two-dimensional nonlinear advection diffusion reaction equation. Firstly, a new five-point sixth-order finite difference scheme is proposed to discretize spatial derivatives and the sixth-order backward difference method is applied to teat temporal derivative. As a result, a new fully implicit scheme with sixth-order accuracy in both time and space is proposed. Subsequently, for the calculation of the starting step of the sixth-order backward difference method, the Crank-Nicolson method combined with the Richardson extrapolation technique is employed to obtain the equivalent temporal accuracy as the main scheme. Finally, the accuracy and reliability of the presented method are validated through various numerical examples.

报告人简介：葛永斌，大连民族大学教授、宁夏大学兼职博士生导师。2010年至2011访问美国肯塔基大学。2020年入选宁夏自治区青年拔尖人才工程。目前主要从事计算数学、计算流体力学、计算生物学和数学软件开发方面的研究。先后主持国家自然科学基金项目5项，主持教育部科学技术研究重点项目、霍英东教育基金会高校青年教师基金项目、宁夏自然科学基金重点项目、宁夏自治区重点研发项目等若干项。发表学术论文130余篇，其中SCI检索60余篇。
