报告题目 On a geometric principle in wave scattering and its applications

摘要: In this talk, I shall discuss a geometric principle to bridge the micro and macro scales in wave scattering theory as well as its applications in super-resolution imaging and invisibility cloaking.

报告题目Inverse problems for mean field games

摘要: In this talk, l shall report our latest progress on the mathematical study of inverse problems arising in the theory of mean field games. They are described by coupled nonlinear PDEs. We developed several effective mathematical strategies that can tackle the inverse problems. I shall also discuss several open problems in this emerging field of research.

报告题目 Inverse problems for coupled PDEs arising in mathematical biology

摘要: In this talk, I shall report our recent study on inverse problems arising in mathematical biology. They are described by coupled system of nonlinear PDEs. I shall discuss the modeling issue as well as the mathematical strategies that we developed to tackle the inverse problems.

报告题目Inverse problems with passive measurements and applications

摘要:We are concerned with a class of inverse problems where one intends to recover certain unknown sources and/or mediums by using passive measurements. This type of inverse problems arises in a variety of cutting-edge applications including geometric body generation, photo-acoustic tomography, MAD (magnetic anomaly detection) technology, earthquake precursor detection and cosmological exploration. In this talk, I shall discuss the mathematical progress of our study including the modeling, unique identifiability, stability, and numerical reconstruction results, as well as applications.
